BYOD Tools

"BYOD" -- sometimes called "BYOT" -- stands for "bring your own device" (or "bring your own technology"), which allows students to bring whatever device(s) they own to school. The tricky part about a BYOD policy is that the teacher then needs to focus on using digital tools that can be used on any device (sometimes called "device agnostic tools," "evergreen tools," or "device-neutral tools"), since students could bring anything from an iPad to a Kindle Fire to class. Below are some suggestions for BYOD tools you may consider using. {Please keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list.}
