Technology Integration
My duties as an Instructional Technology Specialist include:
Specific examples of technology integration with teachers:

- training teachers in district (at faculty meetings, professional development days, Digital Day of Learning, New Hire Orientation, etc.) and at local conferences
- brainstorming, researching, and/or setting up for technology-rich lessons in the classroom
- modeling lessons for teachers
- co-teaching technology-rich lessons with classroom teachers
- designing and updating the technology department's website on the district webpage
- acting as district administrator during Carroll's time as part of Seesaw for Schools and training K-4th grade teachers on Seesaw
- training 5-12th grade teachers on Canvas to support our district's LMS initiative
- contributing to various district projects
Specific examples of technology integration with teachers:
- supported the Language Science team in various projects, including digitizing assessments, integrating a team Google account, creating a ThingLink to pull all technology resources together, and more
- assisted encore teachers and administrators in the implementation of Google Sheets for Thankful Thursdays, Google Docs for PE Field Days, Choice Eliminator and FormMule for Google Forms
- supported teachers in their first Mystery Chats (click HERE for more information on that)
- modeled app-smashing lessons involving Whiteboard Lite, Shadow Puppet Edu, Popplet, and Seesaw | Example: character traits with Popplet and Seesaw
